"One Single Day"
Text& musik: Niina Palm Kujansuu

I don't remember how it felt
to be a child and reach the sky
cause even the cursory moments on top
I lost when I grew up

So my days are running out
as I'm fading away stuck in the shade
a holding down that makes my heart wear out
and not able to pump my blood all around

If I could feel really happy for one single day
I could be a mayfly and die satisfied
cause I don't need time if it leaves me empty anyway
then I'd rather get one single day

The source of life I only see
on the screen of my prison cell TV
it's like a scorn, a knife that cuts me until I'm lying on the floor
with my inside all torn

Leave me alone! Shut down the show!
Cause when the light appears without coming near
it's the dark that heals me, that keeps me breathing
cover all windows and let the silence grow

Or let me feel real living for one single day
and I could be a mayfly and die satisfied
cause I don't need time if it leaves me empty anyway
then I'd rather...
Let me feel really happy for one single day
and I could be a mayfly and die satisfied
cause I don't need time if it leaves me empty anyway
then I'd rather get one single day

Soon it's to late for me to be saved
the tiny light that I've got hastens my heart to give up
what's the meaning of life?
cover all windows
let the silence grow
or let me know

"Winterland"
Text& musik: Niina Palm Kujansuu

Winterland, winterland won't let me down
it appears as how I've expected it to be
I know I'll get the cold breeze
summer time, in summer time,
then the grass is greener on the other side,
but when it's hiding under the snow
I don't mind where I go

So icicles and white bransches
mile after mile of silence
let me inside your gate
let this be my fate
I lean my cheek against your snow
it's so smooth, no one can console me like you
when I'm out of might
when I'm frozen after summer time

Summer time, in summer time,
there is no night,
there's just another kind of light taking place at the end of the days,
to give me even more pledges
Summer time, summer time, insomnia,
when something has too much to give
I'm always close to the Negative;
a parallell world where nothing can live

But winterland contains no worry
for the dreams of winter there's no hurry
if it's wrong day
they will wait
in the endless night of endless darkness
when I'm far too long from next summer in the arms of winterland
i's like I've got an eternal life

Hours by the fire under starlit sky
no blocking cloud, no misleading sunshine
only raw and pure universe in sight

Winterland, winterland won't let me down,
it appears as how it has promised me to be
I know I'll get time and peace
winterland, in winterland the things will last,
winterland kills the lies
and the surviving things will last until the end of time

Icicles and white bransches
mile after mile of silence
let me inside your gate
let this be my fate
I lean my cheek against your snow
it's so smooth, no one can console me like you
when I'm out of might
when I'm frozen after summer time

"Between the Milestones"
Text& musik: Niina Palm Kujansuu

You keep steering out
from all things that you know
there's no turning back
and the world only grows

So many things
that pass you by
that you wish
cold stand by your side
cause even if
you should find
them again some day
they won't be the same

So at night you switch on
the lighthouse you've built
from all unbroken things
that you have won
but now time has made them
start fading out
and you need something new
from that truth

Sometimes you breath out
even though you're far from land
sometimes you feel doubt
even when you find rest on a bank

It's a wierd
inner compass
is it bluff
or work of a mind
is that will
good or bad

So at night you switch on
the lighthouse you've built
from all unbroken things
that you have won
but now time has made them
start fading out
and you need something new

Oh let's pitch a camp on next skerry
without knowing for how long
and let's have an unusual packed lunch
Let's make each other laugh
to releave our bother
when we're in the vacuum between the milestones

So at night...
